Chapter 1085 Stunned by Cassie

Cassie nodded in praise. "I saw it, Sophia. You were great."

"Mummy, come play with us." Sophia pulled her towards the court.

In the end, Sophia and Oliver were drenched in sweat.

Cassie had to stay and give Sophia and Oliver a bath.

It had been a long time since Cassie had spent time with them like this, so Sophia and Oliver were especially happy. They even started a water fight in the bathtub, drenching Cassie completely.

"Stop it, you two," Cassie shouted for a long time, but Sophia and Oliver didn't listen to her at all.

Instead, Cassie ended up calling Joseph from outside.

"What's going on in here? Why is it so noisy?" Joseph pushed open the door to find Sophia and Oliver splashing around in the bathtub.

Cassie stood by with a towel, her body and hair soaked.

Coincidentally, she was wearing a custom-made long dress today, and with the water, the fabric clung to her curves, even revealing the clothes underneath.

Joseph glanced at her and couldn't look away, staring at her with a gaze full of desire.

Although Joseph had known Cassie for several years, when he met her three years ago, her beauty was still youthful. After having children, her figure had become even more perfect and womanly, creating an absolutely stunning visual impact.

"What are you staring at?" Noticing his lustful gaze, Cassie blushed and instinctively covered her chest with her hand, then glared at him. "Get out."

Joseph's lips moved slightly, just about to speak when suddenly water splashed onto his face.

"Take that!" Oliver raised a water gun and looked at him provocatively. "You're not allowed to look at Mummy with those lustful eyes."

Both Cassie and Joseph were embarrassed.

Joseph wiped his face with his hand and said irritably, "What do you know? That was an admiring look because she is stunning."

"No." Oliver mercilessly exposed him. "Laura told us when a man looks at a woman like that, it's lustful."

Joseph, exposed by Oliver, felt humiliated.

Cassie, however, laughed out loud, patting Oliver's head in praise. "Oliver, you're so smart."

"Cassie." Joseph's tone was drawn out, full of grievance and resentment.

Cassie rolled her eyes at him, and Sophia complained, "Daddy, are you imitating me? That's so gross."

Joseph, being hit again, felt his heart shatter.

"Just go out," Cassie said dismissively.

"Don't play for too long. Your mommy is all wet because of you two, and she might catch a cold," Joseph reminded them before reluctantly leaving.

Thinking of Joseph's pitiful look, Sophia and Oliver instantly quieted down. Sophia put away the water gun and asked seriously, "Mummy, will you get back together with Daddy?"

Oliver looked at her nervously. "Mummy, please don't get back together with him. When I grow up, I'll protect you. There's not a single good man in the world."

Sophia rolled her eyes at Oliver. "By the time you grow up, Mummy will be old."

Oliver's face turned frosty. "But it's better than Mummy getting hurt by another boyfriend. Don't forget. Joseph hurt Mummy before."

"Daddy knows his mistakes and is correcting them. So, it is fine," Sophia mumbled softly.

"Spineless." Oliver spat. "Sure, he knows his mistakes now, but if Mummy hadn't exposed Megan's true nature, he would have married Megan by now."

"Oliver, don't you want Mummy and Daddy to get back together?" Sophia blinked her big eyes. "No matter what, they're our parents. If they get back together, they won't need to have new babies; it'll just be us, and no one will take Mummy away from us."

Oliver pursed his lips, reluctantly admitting that Sophia's words were tempting, but he frowned. "Anyway, I follow Mummy's wishes. I still want to see if Mummy likes him."

"Alright, I agree." Sophia nodded.

Then they looked at Cassie, continuing the earlier question. "Mummy, will you get back together with him?"

Cassie was helpless, thinking, 'Do Sophia and Oliver want me to get back together with Joseph just because I wouldn't need to have more kids?'

However, their thoughts also revealed that they were actually very afraid that if she had more children in the future, she wouldn't love them as much.

Sophia and Oliver were very insecure.

Cassie sighed quietly and said softly, "Don't worry. I don't plan to get married again. Even if I date someone, I won't have more kids. I'll always only have you two."

Sophia was a bit disappointed. "So you won't get back together with Dad, will you?"

"Even if we get back together, we don't have to get married." Cassie didn't speak too definitively.

"Why not? The TV says if you love someone, you should marry them," Sophia said seriously.

"Sophia, you've been watching too many romance shows," Cassie reminded her awkwardly, "You're just a three-year-old. You shouldn't watch too much TV, okay?"

Sophia completely ignored her, thought for a moment, and said, "Mummy, I get it. You don't want to be responsible for Daddy, right?"

Oliver gave Cassie a complicated look. "Alright, we support you."

"Mummy, as long as you're happy." Sophia shrugged.

"Alright, get dressed, please." Cassie, feeling a headache from the conversation, just wanted to escape the topic quickly.

After finally drying them off and getting them into their pajamas, Cassie led them out.

Joseph happened to come in with a new set of women's pajamas. "Cassie, I saw your clothes were all wet, so I got a new set from Mom. Go take a shower and change."

"Daddy, you're just in time," Sophia suddenly said, "I just asked Mummy, and she said she can be with you, but she doesn't want to marry you."

Cassie, who was about to dry the kids' hair, felt helpless.

She thought, 'When did I ever say that?'

The air suddenly became quiet.

Joseph looked at Cassie with a hint of ambiguity. "Cassie, it's not good to say such things to Sophia and Oliver."

"I didn't. Sophia misunderstood..." Cassie felt even more of a headache.

"Cassie, go take a shower. I'll dry their hair," Joseph interrupted her.

Cassie quickly took the clothes and left.
