Chapter 17 Met in a very embarrassing situation

The manager was flattered. "Ms. Sullivan, your songs are wonderful. I'm a big fan. But unfortunately, all our private rooms are booked today."

"Didn't you just say you had one reserved for them?" Charlotte glanced at Cassie and Laura.

Laura immediately got angry. "We reserved that room in advance. If you want to come, book your own room."

The manager was in a tough spot. They were all heiresses from prominent families in Silverwood.

Charlotte smiled and pointed at Olivia. "I don't need to introduce Sarah. But this is Olivia, the daughter of the president of Height Architectural Decoration Company and its heir." She glanced at Laura again. "As for the one she brought, she's just Olivia's assistant."

The manager was taken aback. Height Architectural Decoration Company was one of the top 300 companies in the country and a well-known listed company in Silverwood.

Laura snapped, "Who's an assistant? Olivia is just a woman who steals from others."

Olivia's face changed slightly, and Charlotte didn't want to deal with Laura anymore. She smiled at the manager. "Do we have a private room?"

"Yes." The manager made a quick decision. "Ms. Miller, I just remembered I promised Ms. Jones a private room earlier. You'll have to come back another time."

Cassie's eyes narrowed, and anger flashed in her eyes. "Do you think we're idiots?"

Laura rolled up her sleeves. "Do you believe I can call Elliott and shut this place down?"

Olivia laughed. "Don't worry. We'll take responsibility for everything."

Hearing this, the manager had no more concerns. "Ms. Miller, please leave now and don't disturb our guests."

"If I can't eat here today, then no one will," Laura said, grabbing a nearby vase and smashing it on the ground.

The manager's face changed, and he ordered the waitstaff, "Escort them out."

The waitstaff roughly dragged out Cassie and Laura.

The waitstaff was particularly rough with Cassie, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground. They continued to drag her.

Cassie felt like she had turned into a sack of potatoes, her arms and knees hurting from the rough treatment.

"Let her go!" Joseph's icy voice suddenly rang out.

Her heart skipped a beat.

Cassie looked up, but before she could see clearly, the waiter pulling her was kicked away.

A tall, slender figure walked toward her, bathed in warm sunlight. Joseph, dressed in a deep blue double-breasted bespoke suit, exuded elegance.

His features were exceptionally refined and handsome, radiating a powerful natural aura.

Cassie was stunned. She hadn't expected to run into Joseph again so soon, especially in such a disheveled state.

He already disliked her; would he drag her off to get a divorce after seeing her like this?

Noah, standing nearby, quickly recognized Cassie as well.

The acknowledged beauty of the Silverwood elite, looking this disheveled, was a rare sight.

He smirked playfully, "Joseph, isn't this your..."

Joseph shot him a warning glance.

Noah didn't continue.

"Cassie, are you okay?" Laura hurriedly pushed past the waiter and helped her up.

"I'm fine," Cassie said, glancing at Joseph with frustration.
