Joseph's gaze suddenly became complicated.
He thought that even if Nathan didn't compensate, Megan, being kind-hearted, should pay. After all, she always felt guilty in front of Joseph.
Cassie ignored him and turned to the kitchen to cook.
Sophia sat on the sofa watching TV, and soon, the fragrance wafted from the kitchen.

"Cassie, didn't you cook for me?" he widened his eyes.

Sophia said, "The steak Cassie made is yummy."

It's delicious, so he really wanna eat it.
Sophia might have heard his thoughts, kindly took a piece of steak, and gave it to him. "This is my favorite steak. Give it a try."
After Joseph took a bite, he just wanted to continue eating more steak.
This steak was ten out of ten.
But after Sophia gave him a piece of steak, she ignored him. He had to take the fork himself to get the steak.
He had no noodles, but he could eat some meat.
Cassie only cooked a little, to begin with, and the two of them had similar tastes, so the steak was gone in no time.
Sophia directly took the steak plate, pitifully saying, "You can't eat anymore. This is all mine. I'm not full yet."
Joseph just watched as the tasty pieces went into Sophia's mouth, making his stomach even more uncomfortable.
Cassie cleared the tableware and then brought out homemade yogurt for Sophia, topped with blueberry jam.
After Sophia happily finished a large cup, she blurted out, "Yummy yummy, Mom."
Cassie's hands trembled.
Joseph looked at Sophia in astonishment. "What did you just say?"
Sophia almost wanted to cover her mouth, oh no, she inadvertently revealed her identity.
Luckily, Cassie reacted quickly, gently patting her head. "Do you miss your mom?"
"Yes." Sophia quickly nodded, blinked hard, and tears welled up, "Every time I eat Auntie Cassie's food, it reminds me of my mom. I couldn't help but think of Auntie as my mom."
After saying that, she suddenly threw herself into Cassie's arms. "Can you be my mom?"
The little actress was very good at disguising herself, and Cassie couldn't keep up with her pace.
It would be a shame if this child didn't become an actress at such a young age; she could definitely debut as a child star.
"No," before she could answer, Joseph's expression changed, and he spoke in a stern voice.
Sophia glanced at him, scared, buried her face in Cassie's arms, and started crying. "Joseph is so scary."
