"I couldn't control myself last night and drugged her food. I thought possessing her would mean having her. It must be ridiculous, right? We've been married for so long, and she hasn't slept with me once," David continued.
The reporters looked incredulous.
David shed tears. "Cassie didn't want to do that last night, so I lost control and slapped her. She later escaped from me and ran to Joseph. She spent the whole night with Joseph. Anyway, I was wrong. I'm giving myself up."
One of the reporters sighed. "You're so miserable."
David said with immense sorrow, "Love can make a person insane. I never thought I'd become like this one day."
Within less than two hours of the video being released, it had over fifty million views.
As Joseph watched David's shameless demeanor, his temples throbbing with anger.
What infuriated him even more were the insults from netizens.
[I really sympathize with David; he's too pitiful.]

Joseph's heart ached with anger.
He didn't care about insults directed at him, but he couldn't stand people speaking so poorly of Cassie.
She had always been the victim, and it was Joseph who had repeatedly entangled her.
David was utterly destroying her.
Nathaniel said worriedly, "David's move is very clever. He might be worried that Ms. Brooks would sue him, so he turned himself in first. "Get Spencer and Peter here. I need to know what happened," Joseph said after a moment of contemplation.
About twenty minutes later, Spencer and Peter appeared at the hospital.
They had probably seen David's interview video, too, as their faces didn't look good.
"Can you tell me what exactly happened last night?" Joseph's gaze fell on Spencer. "I know I cut off your finger before, and I'm sorry for that. But Cassie is your master, and she had an incident yesterday. I hope we can set aside our past grievances and work together."
"Don't worry, I'm not that narrow-minded." Spencer glanced at him indifferently. "Ms. Brooks has been investigating David recently and secretly installed surveillance in his office. David was having an affair with Lola in the office. More importantly, she suspects David is colluding with Megan. Even Nina being framed and imprisoned and Arthur's death might be related to David."
A look of shock flashed in Joseph's deep eyes. He thought to himself, 'Does David collude with Megan? Was Nina's imprisonment related to David? Did David cause Arthur's death?'
These shocking revelations left him stunned for a while.
Spencer sneered. "Don't be surprised. You were deceived by Megan back then, but Ms. Brooks had us investigate Megan secretly as soon as she returned. We also deliberately brought back Rex."
Joseph smiled bitterly, wondering how many more things he did not know. "What's the deal with Rex?"
Spencer said coolly, "Ms. Brooks had us investigate Megan's experiences abroad. Everyone involved in Megan's kidnapping back then is dead, except for Rex. Actually, when Megan was kidnapped, she had sex with the kidnappers to survive. Later, she leaked the kidnappers' whereabouts, and many of them were killed, but Rex escaped.
"We informed Rex about Megan. Rex knew she was the fiancée of Madison's richest man and came back to blackmail her. Megan gave him millions of dollars and had sex with him. By the way, during that time, Megan was living with you, and you were planning to marry her," Spencer said with a gloating expression, "Rex took the money and indulged in drugs and women. Considering his indiscretion, Ms. Brooks was afraid you'd catch some disease from him."
Joseph's face turned embarrassed as he listened.
He had suspected these things but had no evidence. Hearing it from Spencer made him feel nauseous.
Thinking about how he once believed Megan was deeply in love with him and wanted to marry her, he felt utterly disgusted.
"Why didn't Cassie just tell me about Rex?" Joseph asked, his handsome face tense.
"First, you wouldn't have believed Ms. Brooks at that time. Second, Megan is very cunning. Thirdly, Ms. Brooks thought you two were a good match. Didn't you love Megan? It would be more satisfying to expose Megan's true nature when you were about to marry her," Spencer remarked.
Joseph looked at Cassie sleeping on the bed, really wanting to give her a spanking.
Spencer continued, "During that time, I followed Rex every day. A few days before your wedding with Megan, a group of hitmen from Neya City killed him and threw his body in the wilderness. I found his body and placed it where it could be easily found. Otherwise, you would have really married Megan."
Joseph suddenly understood. "Megan must have killed Rex to silence him. But how did she find hitmen from Neya City?"
"That's why we suspected back then that Megan had a mysterious supporter behind her. We couldn't find out who it was until Sophia and Oliver were attacked." Spencer sighed. "We have evidence of David's infidelity and even some of his perverted hobbies. These are enough to show the public that David is a hypocrite. Once we release them, the things David said in the video will be completely discredited, and Ms. Brooks' reputation can be restored."
"Does David know you have this evidence?" Joseph asked.
