"Even on the day of our wedding, the police took Megan away, so I decided to cancel the wedding with Megan. I didn't mean to waste her youth because she deceived me."
When a stack of evidence was presented, Cherie glanced deeply at Megan.
Megan panicked slightly. Mark stood up, staring at Joseph. "Joseph, you previously stated online that you have erectile dysfunction, so you never do it with Megan, right?"
"Yes, I have medical proof from the hospital." Joseph nodded.
Mark sneered. "Really? But I found out that during your relationship with Megan, you bought birth control pills for Cassie, which means you don't have erectile dysfunction. Your claim of not having sex with Megan is a lie."
Cherie frowned. "Mark, do you have evidence?"
"Yes, here are the records of him buying birth control pills, and there are multiple records of him buying condoms, which proves he has no issues," Mark said, "Joseph's lying."
Joseph furrowed his brows, pondering, 'Mark is more capable than the previous lawyers; he even found these records.'
Joseph looked up and said, "I indeed never slept with Megan because every time I tried, my body instinctively felt nauseous."
Mark sneered. "You played with Megan for over ten years, and now you say she makes you sick. Joseph, why did she cheat on you with Rex? Ever since Cassie came back, you have had multiple secret meetings and affairs with her. To get back at you, Megan did the same thing."
"I wasn't divorced from Cassie at that time," Joseph explained.
"That makes it even more shameless. Megan has been with you for the past three years. You told her you were divorced from Cassie. She was deceived by you, both physically and emotionally, and now you want to take the money back. That's despicable." Mark's righteous voice made many people look at Joseph with disdain.
Finally, Cherie banged the gavel, ending the first trial. The second trial would be held next week.
However, everyone could see that Joseph was at a disadvantage in this trial.
As they left, Megan and Mark were both very gloating.
"Madison's top lawyer? Joseph is nothing special," Mark said loudly to Megan, "If I had known, I could have sent one of my apprentices to handle it."
"Mark, you're amazing." Megan smiled, then sighed at Joseph. "Joseph, there's still a week left. You can come to me anytime. If you think I'm taking too much, I can return millions of dollars to you. I believe it is enough for you to live a comfortable life."
"Michael, did you see that? This is Megan," Joseph suddenly mocked Michael, "You should know whether I ever slept with her."
With that, he strode away.
Michael watched his back, feeling very conflicted.
When Michael got into the car, he questioned Megan, "Why did you lie with Mark in court? Joseph never slept with you."
Megan looked innocent. "Mark said it was the only way to win."
"Can you be so unscrupulous just to win?" Michael found himself increasingly unable to understand Megan.
"Michael, ever since I brought Mark in, this case is no longer just about me. It also concerns Mark's honor as a top global lawyer. He can't lose," Megan said, feeling wronged.

He lowered his eyes in frustration, started the car, and drove Megan to the mall entrance.
Megan opened the car door and left without looking back.
Michael watched her back, suddenly feeling a chill run through his body.
He had taken a day off to accompany her to court, thinking he would spend the whole day with her, but she just left him like that.
He sat alone in the car, feeling for the first time that he didn't know where to go.
He used to have Joseph, Lucas, and the Jude family, but ever since the Jude family cut ties with him, he found himself with fewer and fewer friends.
Just then, he suddenly saw Caroline's car entering the mall parking lot.
His eyes lit up, and he quickly drove after it.
Soon, Caroline got out of the back seat, and on the other side was Laura, wearing blue jeans that accentuated her long, sexy legs paired with an ink-dyed shirt. Her long hair was tied in a braid, making her look like a stylish young girl. Her elegant demeanor made it hard to tell she was almost two months pregnant.
Michael was stunned for a couple of seconds before quickly catching up. "Mom."
He hadn't seen Caroline for a long time, and she didn't even answer his calls.
Caroline and Laura turned around and saw Michael walking over with a pitiful look, which would soften most women's hearts.
But Caroline and Laura were not most women. Caroline had long been disappointed in him and immediately put on a cold face. "I am not your Mom. We've already severed our ties."
After a pause, Caroline took Laura's hand and said, "Let's go. Don't pay attention to him. Some people don't know their place and want to cling to the Jude family. It's best to stay away from such people."
Michael's eyes widened.
He was so devastated but helpless.
