Chapter 763
"Alright, I'll give you five hundred bucks, then just wait to die."
Michael grabbed Laura by the leg, dragged her over fiercely, and was about to make a move when his phone rang.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Laura quickly kicked him in the face and then ran away immediately.
"Stop right there."
Michael chased after her, but the phone kept ringing incessantly and annoyingly. He answered, "Speak quickly; I'm busy."
"Michael, are you not satisfied with the woman from last night? Do you need to sleep with women in the morning, too?" A cold, mocking voice taunted.
Michael glanced at the caller ID, "Julia Jude," and was taken aback to see that it was his sister calling. "Julia, I had no idea it was you.”
"Alright, I don't want to waste my time on you. Hurry back; Grandpa is looking for you", Julia said coldly.
Michael wanted to cry, "Julia, last night I was..."
"Grandpa is very furious," Julia reminded him.
Michael trembled, "I'll come back."
"You better be careful." Julia hung up.
Michael was at a loss. Laura had tricked him badly this time.
One hour later.
Michael entered the Jude’s mansion and immediately spotted Eric, James, and Caroline Jude in the hall, as well as Julia and Aaron Jude, which put him at ease.
Thankfully, the other relatives were not present. Otherwise, they would have convened a family meeting to collectively pass judgment on him; Michael felt as though he wanted to disappear.
"Michael, you're back," his brother Aaron teased with a smile. "Do you want some health supplements? I'm afraid you were too crazy last night."
Michael glared at Aaron, then quickly went over to pour coffee for Eric, conciliating, "Let me explain. I was set up yesterday..."
"Kneel down," Eric said sternly.
Father James warned, "Your grandfather said kneel."
Michael had no choice but to kneel on the ground.
Eric slammed the coffee cup down heavily and angrily said, "You are such a disgrace! Your uncle is running for the president next year, and you're causing trouble for our family. It's become a joke in Whisperlyn City."
Caroline sighed, A few days back, your aunt had plans to arrange your marriage with the daughters of other families. However, when news of this incident spread this morning, everyone immediately declined. No respectable family would like to marry their daughter to you.”
"If they don't want to marry, then so be it."
Michael lowered his head. He didn't want to get married either, and the most annoying thing every year was his family arranging blind dates for him.
"Shut up," Eric said angrily.
Michael said with a grievance, "Grandpa, I drank too much last night; I really didn't know; it was a woman named Laura who brought those women; I didn't touch them."
"I've already investigated these matters."
