Chapter 1210 It Is also a Slap in My Face

Dale had dealt with Joseph a few times and knew he was tough.

Recently, Joseph had quickly taken down the Chamberlain Group.

When Declan suggested dealing with Joseph, Stanley initially disagreed because the Hernandez Group was crucial to Madison. But due to Declan's unique status, Stanley had to go along.

Joseph was too cautious, though. After two days of investigating, nothing came up on the Hernandez Group.

And behind the Hernandez Group was a Dragon. With Joseph's ruthless ways, if Dale hurt Cassie, Joseph might drag him down with him.

Since Declan had spoken, taking down the Hernandez Group was just a matter of time, but now wasn't the time to clash with Cassie.

Michael chimed in, "Do you think we're dead? Stanley's stepping down next month. Dale, I know you're ambitious, but you need to wait until you can act on it, right?"

Dale's face darkened.

Michael and Cassie had embarrassed him in front of Olivia.

"Dale, no rush," Olivia said with a smile, trying to help. "Just killing her is boring. I prefer locking people up and torturing them bit by bit, making them wish they were dead."

Isla glared at Laura in agreement. "Don't think you're special because you have a future president's goddaughter as a friend. Olivia can crush you like an ant. Cassie, if I were you, I'd beg for mercy now. Maybe you could still save Joseph."

"Isla, does Benjamin know about your attitude?" Laura sneered.

Isla scoffed, "Laura, you're just the future president's goddaughter, not his real daughter. The forces behind Olivia aren't something the Jude family can handle. Mind your own business."

"Olivia, your servant is quite loyal," Laura said with disdain.

Isla glared, but Olivia just smiled and raised an eyebrow. "No one is more loyal than you. Cassie points, and you hit."

Laura felt humiliated and furious, especially since she was more easily angered during her pregnancy.

Michael was also angry. No matter what, Laura was his wife. "Shut up, you ugly freak. Where did you get your plastic surgery? Your face is too stiff. Dale, how can you be interested in such a woman? Aren't you afraid of thinking you've encountered a zombie at night?"

That remark slapped both Olivia and Dale in the face.

Especially Olivia, whose face twisted. Ever since Isabella recognized her as a daughter, she had been surrounded by sycophants. Even in Madison, she was flattered by those who were once out of reach. She hated it the most when people talked about her face.

"Michael, are you asking for trouble?" Dale was furious, especially in front of Olivia. He had to regain face for her.

He threw a punch at Michael.

He couldn't hit Cassie, but fighting Michael was no problem.

Although Dale came from a prominent family, he had some real skills and ruthless methods.

Michael didn't have Joseph's skills, but he'd been through enough training and beatings from Joseph and Lucas to hold his own.

Michael and Dale started brawling.

Dale wasn't on Joseph and Lucas's level, so Michael managed to fight him to a draw.

The bodyguards didn't dare intervene. Michael's status was special, and if Dale and his bodyguards beat up someone from the Jude family, it would be a mess to handle later.

Laura watched in amazement. "Didn't expect Michael to be so capable despite seeming unreliable."

"How could someone without any skills hang out with Joseph and the others?" Cassie said sharply, noticing neither side was gaining the upper hand.

Sure enough, after a while, Michael and Dale separated, both looking worse for wear with injuries on their faces.

Cassie didn't want to prolong the commotion. She walked up to Olivia. "It's good you're back. I've been looking for you to settle the score from four years ago. There's plenty of time."

She turned to leave but glanced at Sarah, who hadn't said a word. "Does Lucas know you're here tonight?"

She left without waiting for Sarah's reaction.

Olivia didn't take Cassie's warning seriously. In her eyes, no one could match her now. Declan and Isabella's backgrounds were too powerful, even the president's grandson was trying to please her.

"Olivia, I'm sorry," Dale said apologetically. "I wanted your friends to have a good time at my club."

"How did they end up here?" Olivia suddenly looked at Sarah and Isla suspiciously. "Were you followed?"

"Probably not," Isla and Sarah said, feeling a bit nervous.

"Forget it. It doesn't matter. She knows, so what? We'll meet sooner or later anyway." Olivia didn't care; she was actually looking forward to meeting Cassie.

Sarah, however, was worried. What if Cassie went to Lucas and said something?

But after weighing her options, she still wanted to get closer to Olivia. Even Dale was trying to please Olivia, so her background must be extraordinary now.

And she was also looking forward to the day Cassie would be in trouble.

In the parking lot downstairs:

Michael, enduring his injuries, angrily shouted, "He dared to hit me. When Stanley steps down, I'll make sure he pays."

Laura looked at his bruised but still handsome face and thought he was manly for once. "How about I go with you to the hospital to get some medicine?"

"Alright, I can't let my handsome face get ruined," Michael nodded, wincing in pain.

"Mr. Jude, thank you for tonight," Cassie said, starting the car. Her impression of Michael had greatly improved.

"Laura is my wife now. Olivia insulting her is like a slap in my face," Michael snorted.

That attitude made Laura admire him even more.

"By the way, you mentioned before that Olivia might have hooked up with some powerful man abroad. Judging by today's situation, with Dale trying to please her, it doesn't seem like it," Michael said. "She has no power or looks. Who did she hook up with?"
