Chapter 1778 Has Bernice Gone Crazy?
Bernice chuckled softly, "Ever since you forced me to sleep with you, I've been secretly collecting negative information about the company's artists. Luckily, as an insider, it wasn't too hard. Sneaking into the restroom to eavesdrop or checking others' phones when no one was looking was pretty easy."
"Fine." Lucas's eyes were filled with deep gloom. "But do you think this little bit of dirt can bring me down? Naive. I don't care about those people at all."

After a pause, Bernice suddenly said playfully, "Besides, I'm not trying to ruin you. I just want everyone to see how deep your feelings for Sarah are. You've spent so much money on her; you can't keep her as your secret lover forever, can you?"
"What do you mean?" Lucas had a sudden bad premonition.
"Compared to the image of the president of the Nelson Group being a bad man, wouldn't it be better for you to admit your deep and unwavering love for Sarah?"
Bernice smiled playfully, "Actually, I know very well that you look down on Sarah. Although I don't understand why you're promoting her, it must be interesting for you to be with a woman you despise. Mr. Nelson, I'm looking forward to it."
Lucas sneered, "You talk as if you know me very well."
"I consider myself the person who knows you best in this world," Bernice thought for a moment and added, "I know you better than Joseph."
The mocking tone spread through the phone line.
Lucas was unwilling to admit it; he had only known Bernice for about a year.
"Bernice, I didn't expect you to be so self-righteous."
"Don't believe me? Try it," Bernice's tone was provocative. "Let me remind you, if you deny your feelings for Sarah, more scandals involving you and other actresses will come out. This is thanks to your overconfidence and promiscuity, Mr. Nelson. You think you have absolute authority and no one dares to leak your secrets, but today's media aren't as afraid of you anymore."
"Do you dare?" A flash of coldness crossed Lucas's eyes. He closed his eyes briefly and quickly regained his composure. "Bernice, you just want revenge, right? I'll give you a billion dollars to leave Madison."
Bernice continued as if she hadn't heard, "By the way, I might even accept an interview with a reporter, talking about how Mr. Nelson used his power to force me to sleep with him. While you were forcing me, you were also spending a fortune on Sarah. Later, you used me as a scapegoat. Mr. Nelson, your character will certainly refresh everyone's perception."
"I used power to force you?" Lucas laughed coldly. "Are you sure about kidnapping others?"
"When did I ever kidnap anyone?" Bernice asked in surprise. "Are you talking about Megan? She was executed a few days ago, so she can't testify for you, Mr. Nelson."
Lucas was stunned for a few seconds before he couldn't help but laugh softly.

He had always been the one to scheme against others, but now Bernice had outsmarted him.
"Bernice, if you don't want to live, just let me know." Lucas's gentle tone was chilling. "I promise to fulfill your wish."
"You shouldn't threaten me; you'll regret it."
Bernice hung up the phone.
Lucas smashed the landline phone.
He called Thaddeus in, "Find Bernice. Use any means necessary to stop her."
Thaddeus looked at Lucas's handsome but cold face, feeling nervous.
Lucas of the Nelson Group had always been ruthless; otherwise, he wouldn't be where he was today.
Bernice was still too naive.
"Mr. Nelson, something's wrong." The secretary rushed in. "There was an online exposé about the vice president of our hospital in Skyhaven accepting bribes from a pharmaceutical company, and doctors in Crystal Bay taking kickbacks. Now a bunch of reporters are outside the headquarters."
"Which reporters are leading this?" Lucas asked coldly.
The secretary thought for a moment and said, "It seems to be Whisperlyn City TV station."
"Contact the PR department immediately and call a meeting," Lucas signaled the secretary to push him over.
"Mr. Nelson, what about Bernice?" Thaddeus asked hesitantly.
"Control her as soon as possible," Lucas said, almost angrily.
As Thaddeus and his team went to find Bernice, a subordinate in the passenger seat suddenly said, "Mr. Guest, Bernice posted a video on VirtualVision."
"Let me see."
Thaddeus grabbed the phone and opened it.
"Hello everyone, I'm Bernice. I believe you all know I haven't been in the public eye for a while. Insiders might know the reason: I was blacklisted by Dreamscape Entertainment Group, by the order of the president of the Nelson Group himself. Anyone who dares to hire me for a movie will have their access to Nelson Hospital's medical resources cut off. Everyone gets sick, so I have no roles to play now."
Thaddeus felt sweat forming on his forehead.
"Is Bernice crazy?" the subordinate asked.
Whether Bernice was crazy, he didn't know.
But Lucas was definitely going to go crazy.
In the video, Bernice continued, "Of course, I actually don't want to act anymore. I've sacrificed too much and am too tired. Everyone must be curious why Lucas blacklisted me, right?"
