Chapter 915 She Will Drive Me Crazy Very Soon

Megan seriously suspected that she, Cassie, and Laura were born enemies. Otherwise, why did she always feel disgusted wherever she went because of them?

Beside her, Nathan was staring intently at Laura, his gaze undisguisedly greedy.

"Megan, today I must have Laura," Nathan whispered in Megan's ear. "I didn't expect Laura to become more and more charming. It wouldn't be terrible for me to marry her reluctantly, either."

"Fine, I support you. It just so happens there are many reporters present tonight. You can make good use of it, but be careful." Megan took a deep breath.

She could finally vent her anger. Once Laura married Nathan, Megan would have plenty of opportunities to deal with Laura.

"I will." Nathan nodded lecherously.

On stage, Laura had already begun introducing the new product to the crowd. "Hello everyone, I am Laura, the person in charge of the new product and also the formulator..."

Michael watched Laura nervously. He wasn't entirely confident about Laura presenting the product on stage. Unexpectedly, in front of so many media outlets, Laura was poised and composed. Coupled with her beautiful face, she was a delight to watch. Michael couldn't help but look at Laura with newfound respect. It seemed inviting her to join the Ocean Blue group was a wise decision.

"Michael." Megan suddenly clung to his arm, forcing a smile. "I didn't expect Laura to wear a red dress tonight, too. If I had known, I wouldn't have worn mine."

Michael was taken aback, and Nathan immediately sighed. "What a coincidence, Megan is also wearing red. Just now, everyone was comparing the two, saying Laura's temperament completely overshadowed Megan's."

"Nathan." Megan glared at Nathan. "There's no rule that says only I can wear red."

"I suspect Laura did it on purpose. Cassie used to do such things, and she's good friends with Cassie. They're both equally malicious. But you and Joseph have broken up, so Laura has no reason to keep targeting you," Nathan complained.

Michael immediately frowned and remained silent.

"Michael, don't listen to Nathan. My brother is just like that," Megan said anxiously.

"It's okay, Nathan is right. You are my girlfriend now; a formulator shouldn't outshine you," Michael said, looking at Laura on stage with a deep voice.

Megan and Nathan exchanged a secret glance, a trace of smugness in their eyes.

After Laura finished her speech, she slowly walked off the stage with the support of the staff.

Alice came over and said, "Laura, Mr. Jude wants you to go upstairs."

Laura nodded, thinking Michael had something work-related to discuss. When she reached the room upstairs, Michael was standing by the window, dressed in a white handmade suit with a pink shirt underneath, his hands lazily in his pockets. On any other man, such an outfit would look tacky, but his handsome and charming face managed to pull it off, making him look like an idol.

Unfortunately, this piece of cake was smeared with Megan's cow dung.

"I've prepared a dress for you. Change into it before going back down," Michael said, nodding towards a dark green dress laid out on the sofa.

"My dress is fine. Why should I change?" Laura asked, puzzled.

"Your dress is the same color as Megan's," Michael said coolly. "Megan is my fiancée and the future Mrs. President. I won't allow you to wear the same color as her."

Laura, after her initial shock, became particularly furious. "You jerk, why don't you just say you won't allow me to be the same gender as her?"

Michael frowned at her words. "You are a lady of a noble family, yet you always speak so crudely."

"When you hired me as a formulator, you didn't say I was crude," Laura sneered. "My dress style is different from hers. Why can't I wear red just because she is? Do you think you're the President's nephew? Your uncle isn't even President yet. The Jude family is known for being low-key and reserved, but here you are, Michael, always causing trouble for your family."

Laura turned to leave.

Michael, seething with anger, shouted, "Laura, don't think I don't know you did this on purpose to match Megan's dress. You just want people to think you're prettier than Megan and make her a laughingstock. She's already had it rough. You and Cassie should give her a break."

Laura took a deep breath, trying not to explode. "You're such an idiot. With your vivid imagination, you should be writing novels, not working at a cosmetics company. How could I possibly know what Megan would wear?"

"A scheming woman like you would naturally have your ways," Michael snorted.

"I can't be bothered with you. In any case, I won't change my dress unless I'm dead," Laura said, walking straight ahead, not intending to engage further with this fool.

"Stop right there," Michael called out.

An enraged Michael instinctively reached out and grabbed Laura's sleeve. Her dress was already loose, and with his pull and her forward motion, the dress slipped off one shoulder, even causing her chest pad to fall out.

Michael stared in shock at Laura's exposed chest.

He had noticed her good figure when she wore the dress, but he hadn't expected it to be this good. A rush of blood surged to his head, and Michael blushed instantly.

"Michael, you pervert, stop staring!" Laura screamed, instinctively covering her chest with one hand, and slapping Michael with the other.

"How dare you hit me?" Michael covered his face, his usually affectionate eyes now wide with anger.

"You tore my dress off; of course, I can hit you." Laura's beautiful face flushed, whether from anger or embarrassment. She had never been seen naked by another man before.

"If you had changed, this wouldn't have happened." Michael threatened weakly. "If you don't change, I'll change it for you."

"Go ahead, change it for me." Laura fumed, stepping closer to him. "If you have the guts, strip me completely. I'll call the police and accuse you of assault. Let's see who gets more embarrassed. I've already been through worse three years ago."

Michael was forced to retreat step by step. He was much taller than her, and a casual glance down at her chest made his breathing hot and heavy.

"Fine, just put your dress back on and get out," Michael ordered irritably, feeling that Laura would drive him crazy sooner or later.

Laura glared at Michael before heading to the bathroom to fix her dress. Moments later, she poked her head out of the bathroom, annoyed. "Michael, pick up my chest pad."

Michael was stunned. Seeing the pink item on the floor, he felt completely out of sorts. "Why do you even need to pad it?"

Michael went to pick it up, but he couldn't bring himself to do it.
