Chapter 1135 Isabella Found Her Biological Daughter
Olivia had no idea that a man on the fifth floor was watching her leave from behind the glass.
He stood there coldly, hands in his pockets.
The overhead light highlighted his shoulder-length curly hair. While many men with long hair might not look great, he had a devilishly handsome face.
But anyone who saw him would be scared because his mysterious blue eyes were chilling.
Everyone knew the ruler of Neya City, Declan, had similar eyes.
This was Declan's son, Everett Wittelsbach, the heir of Neya City.
"Mr. Wittelsbach," Manuel Cruz approached. "I found out her last name is Brooks, from Madison."
"Brooks?" Everett's eyes narrowed. "You think she looks a lot like my mom, don't you?"
Manuel paused. "I observed her closely. She seems to have had plastic surgery. Maybe she altered her appearance to look like Mrs. Wittelsbach."
"Mom rarely shows her face, and her demeanor is also similar," Everett said thoughtfully. "Mom told me she had a child before she appeared on Emerald Haven Island, so I might have a half-sister."
"You think it's her?" Manuel was surprised.
"Tell the hotel staff to get two strands of her hair. I want a DNA test with my mom. I need the results by tomorrow morning." Everett instructed and then left.
The next day, at dawn, Manuel brought the results. "Mr. Wittelsbach, she is indeed related to you. The DNA test shows a 99% match with Mrs. Wittelsbach, confirming they are mother and daughter. The test with your hair also shows a relation."
Everett grabbed the report, surprised.
He thought, 'If Mom knew I found her daughter, she'd be thrilled.'
He took the report and headed to the castle.
After finding out where Isabella was, he quickly went to the lake behind the castle.
Ariana and Declan were fishing by the lake. Though middle-aged, they looked like they were in their thirties because they took good care of themselves.
"Honey, don't just look at the fishing rod. Look at me too." Declan, the overlord of Neya City, was gentle, not arrogant or domineering.
"Be quiet. Don't scare my fish away." Ariana glared at Declan.
Declan blinked pitifully. "Honey, do you love me more or the fish?"
Ariana was speechless. "You're still so childish."
"I think I look like I'm in my early thirties," Declan smiled.
Ariana fell silent.
"Mom," Everett ran over.
Declan looked at him disdainfully. "Why are you back again? Didn't I tell you to handle the family business?"
Everett, feeling deeply despised, was speechless. He felt like an unwanted extra, completely unappreciated by Declan.
But thinking about how uncomfortable Declan would be next, he couldn't be happier.
"Mom, I have some shocking news," Everett said excitedly.
"What is it?" Ariana looked confused.
"I found the child you had before," Everett said, and Declan immediately grabbed him by the collar.
"What did you say?" Declan's eyes flashed with anger.
"Get lost." Ariana pushed him away. "You promised me when we got married that if I found my other child, you'd accept it."
Declan opened his mouth, looking aggrieved.
"Don't worry, I only acknowledge the child. I won't have any ties with that man," Ariana said softly.
Declan's expression softened. "Alright, but you can't have any contact with that man, or I'll ruin him."
Ariana ignored him and looked eagerly at Everett.
"Mom, look," Everett handed over two paternity test reports, "A woman came to the casino recently. She's quite skilled and won for three consecutive days. When I saw her, I thought she looked a bit like you, so I had someone steal her hair for a DNA test."
Ariana looked at the reports and was overjoyed. "So I had a daughter. Everett, go bring her here."
"Wait, honey, something's off," Declan said, "Why did she appear in the casino and gamble for three days straight? It seems like she was trying to attract attention."
"But the test results can't be faked. Even if she has a motive, we can find out by asking." Ariana was eager to meet Olivia. "Honey, I hope you understand. She is not only my biological daughter but also my only link to finding my parents. When I washed ashore on Emerald Haven Island, I knew nothing about my background, my parents, siblings, or home."
"Alright, Ariana, I support you." Declan sighed and hugged her.
He had fallen hopelessly in love with her the moment he saw her.
Soon, Everett brought Olivia over.
On the way, Olivia was anxious yet ecstatic.
She never expected her plan to actually work.
The hair Everett took for the DNA test was all Cassie's. During the time David and Cassie lived together, David collected all of Cassie's fallen hair.
She deliberately placed Cassie's hair on the hotel's comb and floor.
When she wasn't around, the hotel staff took Cassie's hair.
Soon, she would become the heir of Emerald Haven Island and Everett's sister. Then, she could crush Joseph and Cassie.
She just hoped Isabella would never regain her memory.
Everett brought her into the castle, and soon, Ariana and Declan came down from upstairs.
Olivia had seen Isabella in the Brooks family's photos before, but seeing her in person, she realized the photos didn't capture Isabella's beauty. Especially now, Isabella was mature and charming, like a fully bloomed rose, cold and noble.
Olivia was stunned for a moment, then quickly got into character. "Mom."
