Chapter 1691 Honey, I was just kidding.
"You don't have any autonomy?"
Julia tugged at the corner of her mouth. "Last night in bed, you had absolute autonomy. You did whatever you wanted, even humiliated me, and I never talked back. Elliott, I've never lowered myself so much in front of anyone but you. If I didn't love you, would I endure your humiliation?"
Elliott was stunned, then his face turned cold. "So I should be grateful for your love? Don't forget, if you hadn't forced me, I wouldn't treat you this way."
Julia was silent for a moment before saying, "Think whatever you want. Anyway, you're my husband now. You say I don't respect or consider your feelings. I didn't do well before, but I'll change. I'll do what a wife should do, like making you breakfast."
After speaking, she picked up the spatula from the floor, washed it, and turned on the stove. Just as she was about to flip the food, Elliott grabbed her hand.
"Do you have any common sense? If the spatula is wet and touches hot oil, the oil will splatter even more. Are you trying to ruin your face?"
Elliott angrily snatched the spatula from her hand.
Julia was stunned for a moment, then her beautiful eyes showed a hint of happiness. "You care about me."
"Who cares about you? I was forced to marry you. I'm already helpless and don't want to face a woman with a ruined face," Elliott angrily pushed her away. "Get out of my sight."
"Okay." Julia wasn't angry. She blinked. "Then I'll go make some milk."
"You can't use hot water for milk," Elliott blurted out.
"I know, you told me before," Julia smiled at him.
Elliott felt like biting his tongue.
When they were in love, she didn't have any common sense. She used boiling water to make milk, and he had told her many times.
Fifteen minutes later, when Elliott brought out breakfast, there were already two cups of milk on the table, in white porcelain cups. The cups were new, probably bought by Julia.
On the balcony, Julia was on the phone. "Got it, put the report on my desk. I'll check it at the office later."
Her cold voice carried no emotion.
Elliott frowned. She was completely different at work compared to when she was with him.
After a while, Julia came over and saw the breakfast on the table. She hadn't had such a simple breakfast in a long time, but she was exceptionally satisfied.
"Elliott, the breakfast you made is delicious," she said with a smile after taking a bite.
Elliott's face remained cold, feeling very depressed.
He hated Julia and this marriage.
But damn it, on the first morning of their marriage, he had made breakfast for her.
He must be out of his mind.
"The milk you made is too weak," he said coldly.
"Really? Let me taste it." Julia took a sip of the milk next to him. "It does seem a bit weak. I'll make it stronger tomorrow."
Elliott looked at the milk she had sipped from, his face darkening. "You drank from it. How am I supposed to drink it now?"
"Are you saying it's dirty?" Julia raised her eyes.
"Glad you know," Elliott sneered.
"Oh," Julia nodded calmly. "Then last night, when you kissed me for so long and took in so much of my saliva, do you not want your mouth anymore?"
The dining room fell into an eerie silence, and Elliott's face stiffened.
A moment later, he kicked the chair and went to the dressing room to put on his coat and leave.
Julia watched him pick up his phone and head for the door, her mouth curving in helplessness.
Elliott was quite childish.
Just because of one sentence, he was so angry that he wouldn't even eat breakfast?
Elliott didn't look at her, focusing on changing his shoes at the door.
Just as he put on one shoe, a sexy figure hugged him from behind, her slender hands pressing against his chest.
"Honey, I was joking," Julia's soft voice came from behind. "Are you sure you won't eat breakfast? You worked so hard to make it. If you don't eat, it'll all go to waste."
Elliott's body tensed up.
Especially with Julia's curvaceous body pressed against him, her calling him "honey" further stirred his emotions.
"Have some breakfast. You drank so much last night. If you don't eat, your stomach will feel uncomfortable," Julia continued to coax.
"I'm not eating."
Elliott pulled her hands away and left.
As the door closed, an empty feeling hit him, and he kicked the wall in frustration.
Damn it, it's just a woman.
Just a "honey."
He had to stay vigilant and not fall into Julia's trap.
But he didn't get to eat the breakfast he made, and Julia got it instead.
Elliott was in a bad mood.
After getting in the car, he felt like he had wasted his thirty-something years of life.
As he drove out of the neighborhood, he saw a pharmacy and remembered something.
Last night, they hadn't used any protection.
After hesitating for a few seconds, he stopped the car and went into the pharmacy.
Soon, he drove back.
When he opened the door, Julia had just finished breakfast and was cleaning up. Seeing him return, her eyes lit up with surprise. "Honey, you're back. I thought you went to the office. I just threw the leftovers in the trash."
Elliott glanced at the food in the trash, feeling his hungry stomach clench. His face turned even colder.
He took a box of pills from his pocket and threw it to her. "Take it."
Julia saw the name on the box, and her heart ached.
She quickly threw the pills into the trash. "I'm not taking it."
Elliott's eyes widened in anger. "Julia."
Julia wasn't afraid of him. After all, people were usually afraid of her. "Elliott, we're not young anymore. If I get pregnant, I'll keep the baby."
People said she was cold-blooded and emotionless.
But no one knew that when she attended reunions and saw her classmates with their babies, she felt envious.
It would be easy for her to get pregnant. With some money, she could buy any excellent sperm, but it wouldn't be from the man she loved.
Elliott was shocked. "You."
