Derek laughed, "Then I guess I really need to compensate. How about I offer myself?"
"In your dreams." Laura pinched his thigh unceremoniously.
Derek took the opportunity to grab her hand. "Look at you, about to go abroad, and all you focus on is Maeve. Aren't you worried that I, your boyfriend, will miss you too?"

After the car reached the airport parking lot, they both unbuckled their seatbelts but didn't rush to get out.
Just as Laura was gathering the courage to say something, Derek suddenly leaned over from the driver's seat and kissed her on the lips.
Unlike before, this kiss was passionate and urgent, filled with deep reluctance.
She froze for a moment, realizing that she had indeed neglected Derek as she prepared to go abroad.
They had only been dating for a short time, and now she was leaving for such a long period. She suddenly felt a bit anxious.
She could only respond to Derek, to reassure him.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and slowly responded to the intense kiss.
She could also feel his hands strolling over her body for the first time.

"I'm in the parking lot. I'll be there soon," Laura said.
After hanging up, Laura noticed Derek was tidying up her clothes that had been messed up earlier.
Thinking about his restless hands, her face turned red again.
"You've already been a mom. You should have more experience than me, yet you still blush so easily," Derek teased.
"Who's blushing? It's just hot in your car," Laura instinctively retorted, "Besides, I don't think you're inexperienced. Your kissing skills and moves are quite proficient."
After saying that, she suddenly felt jealous.
He had a girlfriend abroad before, so he must have had plenty of intimate moments with her.
She shook off the thought. "I gotta go now."
"Okay." Derek got out of the car first and took out her suitcase.
As they walked side by side, he suddenly said, "What I did just now wasn't proficiency; it was a man's instinct."
Laura blinked, and after a moment of realization, her eyes widened, "Stop joking. I don't believe you."
"You'll know it sooner or later. I'll need your guidance," Derek said with a meaningful look in his eyes.
Laura's mind went blank.
What did he mean? Was he hinting that they would be intimate in the future? Or that when the time came, she would have to teach him?
When she came to her senses, she was too shy to make a response.
They didn't speak much after that, but the blush on her face never faded.
Even when Derek dropped Laura off at the entrance and she met up with Natalia, Laura was still in a daze.
As she looked back after entering, Derek's tall figure was still standing there, waving at her.
Having a boyfriend who loved you felt like this. When you leaved, he would be thinking of you.
