"How is that possible?" Cassie widened her eyes; she didn't believe it could happen to her.
Spencer glanced at her silently, his look seemingly saying, "Why not?"
"I'm sorry." Cassie lowered her head, filled with guilt.
Joseph had cut off his finger before, but Cassie didn't avenge Spencer and even got entangled with Joseph.
"Forget it. I'm not that petty. It's just a finger. You can be with whoever you want. Don't worry about me. Besides, Joseph was set up by Megan and David." Spencer waved his hand nonchalantly.
Cassie felt even worse, thinking, 'How could I have called out Joseph at that time?'
Cassie sighed in frustration. 'Could it be that I'm really infatuated with Joseph's body?'

"My mom is handling it," Joseph said, "She brought Marcus into this, so it's her time to penance. Besides, she said I should focus on winning you over first."
Cassie couldn't believe Mabel would say something like that.
"Come on. I'll drive you to work. I'll pick you up after work, and we'll go to the Hernandez family for dinner," Joseph said as he guided her into the car, "Sophia and Oliver will be upset if they don't see you. I promised them I'd bring you over this afternoon."
Cassie glared at him.
Joseph shrugged. "I have no choice. I'm not comfortable bringing them out right now. Don't you want to see them?"
