Chapter 849
"I'm not," Cassie denied.
She struggled for a while, unable to break free. But instead felt Joseph's gaze getting hotter.
Cassie was as familiar as ever, suddenly feeling a bit flustered, and then said, "Let go of me. Don't mess around."
"I really want to mess around. How long do you want me to wait?" Joseph questioned and flipped over, his strong arms propped on both sides of Cassie, his hot breath spraying on Cassie's face.
"How long have you waited? Not a few days, right?" Cassie rebutted and turned her face away indifferently, feeling a bit flustered and not daring to meet Joseph's eyes.
Little did she know, Cassie's posture exposed her elegant and slender neck perfectly.
"Cassie, we've been married for a long time," he then replied.
Joseph turned Cassie's face and dominantly kissed her red lips.
"Don't..." she yelled.
Cassie struggled for a while. But Joseph's strength was particularly strong, and he knew Cassie very well.
Added to the fact that Athena informed her that Joseph had not been involved with Megan in recent years. Cassie was no longer as repulsed by Joseph.

Before, Laura thought Benjamin was the most handsome guy.
But when she compared Benjamin's looks to Michael's. Benjamin fell short by a few points.
Suddenly, Michael's eyelashes twitched.
Laura quickly sat back, waiting until Michael rubbed his eyes and woke up, turning to meet her gaze.
Michael instantly lost all drowsiness and complained, "You finally woke up."
"Why didn't you wake me up last night?" Laura pretended to ask nonchalantly.
"Forget it. You slept like a log," he then answered.
"Michael, you're being too harsh!" Laura immediately got angry and retorted, "There's no pig as pretty as me."
"I've seen one last night, and it’s still in my car!" Michael teased with his affectionate eyes.
"Go away," Laura cursed and opened the car door to get out.
Michael rolled down the window and said, "Don't worry. Ken has been arrested. If no one else holds a grudge against you, you can go out with peace of mind and rest for a couple of days. Then, return to work at the Jude family."
"First, send the money over," she then retorted.
After glaring at Michael, Laura went upstairs.
Back home, Laura turned on the news. The incident where Ken had someone attack her last night had become today's hot topic: #SE Group President Ken assaults Ocean Blue Group's new head of R D and is detained#

Cassie quickly got up with sore legs and walked out.
"Well, I thought you two were..." Laura answered.
"Can you stop being so vulgar?" Cassie interrupted Laura seriously.
"I've always been like this." Laura admitted unabashedly. "I fell asleep in Michael's car last night and only woke up in the morning."
Cassie was astonished and then asked, "Michael didn't kick you out and let you sleep until morning. Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah. That's what I thought at first. I didn't expect Michael not to wake me up and even cover me with a blanket." Laura spoke with mixed emotions.
"I really can't tell. He can cook and is considerate. Actually, if it weren't for Megan's bias against us, Michael would be considered a great guy. It's a pity Michael fell for the wrong person, with poor judgment." Cassie sighed. "You're not falling for Michael, are you?"
"Get lost!" Laura immediately got annoyed.
"Why are you so pissed off?" Cassie clicked her tongue, reminding her, "But let me warn you, don't fall for Michael. Benjamin has caused you enough trouble. If you fall for Michael, you'll have a hard time. Michael only has eyes for Megan."
"I don't need you to tell me. I know more than you do," Laura answered.
Then Laura hung up the phone directly. Cassie looked at her phone with some concern. Having known Laura for many years, Cassie knew that every time Laura started praising a man, it never ended well.
Just as she was thinking, Joseph's arm wrapped around her from behind, pulling Cassie tightly into his embrace.
Cassie's breath hitched, and then Joseph bit her ear. "Is Michael a great guy?"
Cassie shuddered all over, about to glare at Joseph, but he covered her lips and murmured, "Better than me?"
"Joseph, you're so annoying," Cassie complained and pinched Joseph's waist hard.
