Chapter 1067 Cassie, You Are Courting Death
David finished with his phone and slowly took off his coat, walking towards her.
Cassie looked at his face, twisted and grotesque in the light, like a demon.
It was the real David, which made her feel nauseous.
"Wait, I just want to know one last thing so I can see Naples and die," Cassie said with a hint of despair.
"Alright, go ahead," David replied.
"Three years ago, when you approached me, did you really like me, or did you have another motive?" Cassie asked, "I don't believe you pursued me for pure love. Did you know from the start that I was Aiden's daughter, or were you eyeing the Peace Group behind me, wanting to take over my company?"
"That was part of the reason," David answered ambiguously, "I did genuinely like you at first, but after Joseph framed me and I went to prison, you immediately turned to him. That made me completely hate you. Cassie, I loved you so much. How was I worse than Joseph? Just because he's the richest man in Madison, right? Now, he's so lowly that he can only submit to me. I can destroy him easily."
He finished with a sinister smile and pushed Cassie onto the bed.
"You know, on our wedding night, he sent me a video. You and Joseph gave me all the humiliation in my life. Since he likes sending videos so much, why don't we send him one, too? Let him see his beloved woman climaxing under me," David continued.
Cassie's heart almost stopped in fear.
She trembled all over but tried to stay calm to buy time. "Then why didn't you admit it when I asked you before?"
"Admitting it would have made you suspicious of me. No man can tolerate that." David suddenly thought of something and slapped her hard.
Cassie, ears ringing from the slap, shivered and said, "David, didn't you say you wouldn't hit me?"
"I lied to you, and you believed it." David grabbed her long hair and yanked her up, making her see the ferocity in his eyes.
"Do you think you'll be free after today? You're wrong. From now on, you'll stay by my side obediently. If you don't, I'll release the video and let everyone see it! You might not care about yourself but think about Oliver and Sophia. Do you want them to be mocked wherever they go?" David threatened coldly.
Cassie shuddered and couldn't bear it anymore, screaming. "Enough, David! From the moment you pursued me, I told you clearly that I didn't like you. You kept bugging me and driving a wedge between Joseph and me. If it weren't for you, Joseph and I wouldn't be where we are today! You put all the blame on me. You don't understand that using despicable means and schemes can't win love. You're a disgusting man."
"Disgusting?" David was completely enraged. He slapped her again and grabbed her by the throat.
"Cassie, being chosen by me is your honor. Do you really think you're clean? You're just a woman Joseph got tired of. Fine, since you think I'm disgusting, I'll show you how this disgusting man rapes you," he said and tore her clothes forcefully.
Cassie screamed, "David, if you dare touch me, the video of you and Lola cheating will be released, too. I believe that passionate office affair videos would be even more sensational."
David was stunned and stared at her. "Did you install surveillance in my office?"
He quickly realized. "The last time you brought me milk tea, it was premeditated."
"What else?" Cassie sneered. "Since you can scheme against others, I can scheme against you. You and Lola play passionate games in the office every day. If your perverted behavior gets out, it will shock everyone!
"Your charitable image will be ruined. You're so hypocritical that you must care a lot about your image."
"You hid it well." David sneered.
"Not as well as you," Cassie suppressed the heat in her body and mocked.
"Too bad you don't know me well enough. Where's the video? Hand it over." David looked at her.
"Are you dreaming?"
"You'll soon find out if I'm dreaming." David smirked. "You know I'm a pervert, so I'll show you my real perverted methods. Cassie, if you don't tell me, I'll call the hitmen from Neya City to sleep with you one by one after I sleep with you. I'm not joking."
He looked at her, his eyes gleaming with a strange light.
Cassie felt a chill down her spine. She didn't expect David to go this far.
She forgot that David no longer deserved to be called human.
"I'll ask you one last time." David raised three fingers. "One."
"If I tell you, will you let me go?" Cassie took a deep breath and asked.
"No, but I won't let others rape you. I'll do it myself," David said with a sinister smile, "Two."
"David, you're dreaming. I won't give it to you. I'll make sure others see you for the monster you are. Even if you threaten me with the video, I'll sue you for marital rape and domestic violence. Every charge is a crime. We'll go down together," Cassie said without backing down, "After I sue you, I'll jump off a building. I haven't been afraid since three years ago. Oliver and Sophia will be taken care of, but you won't be able to bear it."
"Cassie, you're courting death." David was utterly enraged.
He raised his hand to slap Cassie.
"Go ahead, hit me harder. The harder you hit, the worse your domestic violence charge will be. David, don't land yourself in jail." Cassie looked up and smiled at him.
Her face was swollen beyond recognition, but David was subdued by her.
He had her in his grasp, about to succeed, but in the end, she had him cornered.
His eyes suddenly softened strangely. "Cassie, no wonder I fell in love with you. You're different from the others."
