Cassie grew angrier the more she spoke. ""Joseph, do you think it's fun to fool me?""
Joseph felt a bit embarrassed. ""Cassie, get it straight. You were the one who wanted to move in. I simply accommodated your wish and gave you a chance to be attentive to me.""
""So should I be grateful for your deception?"" Cassie clenched her teeth.
""Weren't you happy when you moved in? Besides, I even saved you twice. If it weren't for me, do you think you'd still be standing here talking to me?"" Joseph furrowed his brows.
This woman had no sense of gratitude. He had only taken her in because she had no money and nowhere to go. And what did she do? She used such despicable means against him! Now she had the audacity to accuse him, but who gave her the right?

Seeing her pale face and silence, Joseph became even more confident. ""Cassie, I think it's time for you to reflect on your own attitude. If it weren't for Dakota's need for care during pregnancy, I would never tolerate someone like you staying here.""

She drove to the property management company. While completing the paperwork, she asked, ""I saw renovation workers entering Building B2 earlier. Are they renovating as well?""
