Chapter 463

"Silence! Even if the Zenith Group were to fall into the hands of a wastrel like you, it would inevitably crumble," Nina retorted. With a swift, calculated movement, she flipped him over her shoulder. Amid the astonished gazes of the onlookers, Nathan Zenith was forcefully thrown to the ground.

Cassie and Laura Miller stood in stunned silence. Laura was the first to break the silence, her applause echoing in the room, "That was extraordinary, utterly formidable!"

Nathan Zenith, his face burning with humiliation and rage, bellowed, "Nina, you will pay for this. I won't let you off lightly."

After spitting out these words, he managed to pick himself up and staggered out of the bar, clutching his chest.

"Thank you," Cassie expressed her gratitude, pouring two glasses of red wine and handing one to Nina.

If she had felt a spark of admiration for Nina before, tonight it had ignited into a full-blown flame. "No need for thanks, I was merely passing by when the bar manager informed me that the man was harassing some girls again, so I decided to intervene."

Nina lifted her glass and drained her drink in one swift gulp.

"Girl, you're so cool," Laura Miller complimented, giving her a thumbs up. "If you were a man, I'd be completely smitten."

"Enough of that. Being a tough woman isn't always a positive," Nina responded with a self-deprecating chuckle. "In fact, I should be the one apologizing..."

"He's not your brother. What's there to apologize for?" Cassie interjected, dragging a chair over. "Stay with us for a while."

Nina frowned, hesitating for a few seconds. "I don't think that's a good idea. We're from different worlds. If Joseph found out..."

"I've left him," Cassie interrupted. "I've moved out of his mansion; I'm done playing the fool."

Nina stared, taken aback by Cassie's decisive action. "Are you sure about that?"

"Better a short-lived pain than a prolonged one," Cassie managed a wry smile. "I've known about Megan Ray for a while now. I thought it didn't matter that I couldn't compete with someone who's no longer here. But if I can't even outshine her memory, then it's really not worth it."

"Exactly. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Why cling to one rotten apple?" Laura Miller chimed in enthusiastically. "Sure, Joseph's wealthy, but money isn't everything. We can all earn our own."

"That's the spirit," Nina's dark eyes twinkled with amusement. "If that's the case, let's make the most of tonight."

The three women, close in age and slightly tipsy, quickly formed a bond.

After a few drinks, they took to the dance floor and let loose.

Cassie felt an unprecedented sense of liberation.

Her life had always revolved around Joseph. She had been living without freedom and under constant pressure.

Now, making new friends felt like a fresh start.

But in this bar, frequented by the rich and famous, a popular blogger captured a video and posted it online: [Hit the club and saw three goddesses in person, damn it was worth it!]

[The girls are stunning, each with their own unique style—one's exotic like a mixed-race beauty, another has a classic elegance. Shame about the scar on the middle one's face, but damn, she's got a killer body.]

[Holy cow, does the one in the middle look like Joseph's wife or is it just me?]

[Good eye upstairs, now that you mention it, they do look alike.]

[What do you mean 'look alike'? It's obviously her.]

[Joseph's wife dancing so provocatively, no wonder he's head over heels.]

...

In less than half an hour, [Joseph's Wife Clubbing] trended nationwide, with almost everyone watching.
