Chapter 707
"Did you enjoy the public restroom just now?" Michael raised his eyebrows suggestively. "You even had someone take off my clothes for you and poured wine on me, saying you like this kind of thrilling sensation."
Upon hearing this, the restaurant manager and Asher exchanged surprised looks, shocked that someone as classy as Laura could have such a wild side.
"You're talking nonsense," Laura's face flushed with anger.
Michael's grin grew wider as he looked at her, mischief dancing in his eyes. "Forget it; I won't say more; after all, my current appearance can prove everything."
"You're crazy," Laura muttered, her face red with anger, and then turned and left.
"Hey, have you considered selling me the formula?" Michael shouted after her shamelessly.
"You're dreaming." Laura walked away without looking back, with Asher following closely behind.
Once they disappeared from view, Michael sneezed and shivered violently, barking at the assistant outside, ‘'Hurry up, give me your coat."
Gosh, he was freezing to death.
And he hadn't even eaten.
The assistant wordlessly took off his coat and handed it to him. "Michael, how did the discussion about the formula go?"
"Discussion my foot. We didn't even get to the topic of the formula, and this woman started getting physical." Michael shot him a cold glare. "I'm leaving Asher's side to you. By any means necessary, don't let them sign the contract today. I'm going back to take a shower."
After showering at the villa, Michael grew more and more irritated. He called Lucas directly. "Where are you? I'm in a bad mood. Come out for a drink."
"The usual place, I'm with Joseph."
When he arrived, he found only Joseph and Lucas. "Why is it just you two? Didn't you invite Sarah and Megan?"
Joseph's handsome face was hidden in the shadows, silent, making it hard to read his expression.
Lucas looked up with a faint smile. "Why do we always have to bring women along? Hey, what's wrong with your mouth? Did a woman bite you?"
At his words, Joseph also looked up lazily and glanced at him.
Michael grumbled, "More than just my mouth, look at my ear. It's been bitten until it bled. I suspect Laura was a dog in her past life. She rushed up to me and poured a bottle of red wine on me! It drenched me from head to toe, chilling me to the bone. Oh, Lucas, you have to examine me. I'm in a lot of pain down there. Laura gave me a kick. Joseph, I can understand your pain now."
He leaned in.
Lucas gave him a disdainful look. "Get lost; I'm not a urologist, but don't worry. Joseph couldn't walk straight after being kicked last time, but he was fine later. Your condition don't seem as serious as his was."
Michael muttered, "Then I can relax. Laura and Sie truly are besties. Their tricks are the same. Could it be that they both had the same master these years?"
"Perhaps," Lucas said meaningfully, casting a glance at Joseph.
Joseph lit another cigarette, memories of someone's intense presence causing a faint smile to tug at his lips.
"Joseph, what are you smiling about?" Michael asked.
"Nothing." Joseph pursed his lips. He had only come out to relax and clear his mind, but now, with Michael's interference, he felt even more agitated.
