Chapter 795

Joseph snorted, "All the things you said are nonsense."

Nathaniel was very annoyed, wishing he could disappear on the spot. He didn't figure out why Joseph was picking on him when it wasn't just him talking.

"Well, then answer this question for me." Joseph banged on the table, his tone angry. "Why did Cassie leave in anger? Did I really do something wrong, and what should I do now?"

Nathaniel suddenly understood. So that person was Cassie. Poor Cassie, why did she run away? If he were a woman, he would run away, too.

"Mr. Hernandez, forgive me for being blunt. Aren't you in the pursuit stage right now?" Nathaniel asked cautiously.

Joseph sneered at Nathaniel. "Do I need to pursue? You should know better than anyone that Cassie has liked me for a long time, but I hurt her before, made her uncomfortable, and didn't show her respect."

Nathaniel thought, 'Cuz you are boss.' He couldn't just expose the truth. "Mr. Hernandez, whether you two are in love or not, women need to be spoiled. No one invites a woman over to cook for them and then makes her wash the dishes. That's not finding a girlfriend. It's finding a qualified housekeeper. Women need to be pleased. You should cook and wash the dishes to make her happy. Otherwise, Cassie will feel like she's just your maid, and any woman would be uncomfortable in that situation."

"Megan wouldn't mind," Joseph couldn't help but say.

Nathaniel, feeling helpless, thought, 'Megan might not mind, but then why don't you find Megan?' Still, Nathaniel pretended to be surprised and asked, "has Miss Ray ever washed the dishes? Usually, it seems like Emerson does most of them, right?"

Joseph paused for a moment.

Indeed, it seemed like it. While Megan occasionally cooked, Emerson or Athena usually washed the dishes, and they had maids for household chores and laundry.

Nathaniel sighed. "Mr. Hernandez, you need to understand that women are meant to be cherished. You have plenty of maids for household chores."

"But I only like Cassie's cooking," Joseph said, slightly annoyed.

"Then can you learn to wash the dishes? Cassie cooks, you wash the dishes. Many couples do this. It's a simple form of happiness. You could learn how Mr. Bennett pursues women."

"I don't need Tyler," Joseph said disdainfully. "Tyler is not worthy of comparing himself to me."

Tyler was incomparable to Joseph in any aspect.

"My bad." Nathaniel immediately corrected himself. "Compared to you, there is indeed a huge difference with Tyler."

Joseph clenched a coin in frustration. After a moment, he released it and said coldly, "Go buy a carload of pink flowers and send them to Peace Group."

Nathaniel felt helpless. Joseph had just said he wouldn't learn it, but he had changed his mind in a blink of an eye.

"Alright." Nathaniel respectfully agreed, then turned to leave to make the flower delivery arrangements.

Seeing Joseph and Cassie in their current state, Nathaniel felt genuinely relieved. Though Joseph's hypnosis couldn't be undone, it didn't stop him from falling in love with Cassie again.

At Peace Group. Cassie had just returned to the office after a meeting and suddenly found it filled with pink roses as if she were in a sea of flowers.

Cassie's expression turned grim. She turned to Coco and asked, "Who sent these?"

As she spoke, her phone rang, showing an unfamiliar local number. Cassie answered, and Joseph's gentle, husky voice came through. "Do you like the flowers I sent?"
Cassie sarcastically touched her forehead. "Why did you send me so many flowers? Do you want me to cook and wash dishes for you?"

"Sorry," Joseph said softly, "I shouldn't have let you wash the dishes last night or cook for me."

"Don't disgust me. You're Mr. Hernandez. It's my honor to cook for you," Cassie retorted.

"How about I cook for you tonight?" Joseph coaxed softly. "I'll wash the dishes for you."
