Joseph avoided her eye contact and turned to Athena, saying, "You search her; make her sign, I'll wait outside."

She was delighted; hating Sie for a long time.

Athena stood up and immediately said, "Joseph, I was just searching Sie as you instructed. I took off her outer garment to check inside, and then Nathaniel accused me of undressing her."
Sie sneered, "Weren't you trying to strip me naked just now and even covered my mouth?"
Athena frowned, looking resolute. "Ms. Sie, although I know you hate me for protecting Megan, I always handle things professionally. Whatever Joseph asks me to do, I do. After all, you are Joseph's wife. I wouldn't dare offend you even if I had the courage."
Sie felt so disgusted that she wanted to vomit. "You really are a protector of Megan, learning her hypocritical ways to perfection."
"Shut up. If you dare insult Megan again, I will really have someone strip you naked." Joseph's tone was cold and firm.
Sie stiffened with her eyes gradually dimming, the light in them seemingly fading away as if she had completely given up.
Nathaniel couldn't bear it anymore. "Mr. Joseph, you're really mis..."
"That's enough. Why did I call you here? Not to argue. From the moment you entered until now, nothing has been resolved." Joseph saw Sie in such a miserable situation, feeling even more guilty, which only fueled his anger further.
