Chapter 664
Finally, when he arrived at the Lucas’ mansion, Lucas was still asleep.
Joseph yanked Lucas up from the bed, saying, "Get up, let's go have a drink."
The messy hair didn't diminish Lucas's handsome looks. He gritted his teeth and said, "What's wrong with you again? You didn't go back all night last night, and now you're here again tonight. Aren't you afraid Megan will woolgather... Wait, what's the smell on you?"
Lucas was momentarily speechless. "The scent of Sie?"
"How did you know her scent ?" Joseph squinted his eyes.
"When she came to open the door this morning, I smelled something quite nice, so I remembered it," Lucas had just finished saying when he encountered Joseph's warning gaze.
"You should forget."
Lucas was speechless. "What do you want to do after all? I have warned you this morning, how can you..."
"Wear your clothes," Joseph tossed the clothes to him and then turned and walked out.
Lucas painfully got up, and as he went out, he saw Joseph opening the bottle of Lafite that he had been cherishing for ten years. "Joseph, that's the Lafite I've been treasured up for a long time. Please put it down," he said.
The answer to him was the sound of the wine being opened.
Lucas's heart was almost breaking. "Joseph, why don't you go find Michael."
"If I told Michael that I slept with Sie for two nights, he would definitely confront me," Joseph poured a glass of wine for Lucas. "Why bother? Alcohol is dead; people are alive."
Lucas held his glass of wine and quickly took a few sips to prevent Joseph from finishing it all. "So, what's your choice of the two women?"
"I don't know," Joseph shook his head. "I always thought I loved Megan, but tonight, after seeing Sie, I don't want to go back. I want to sleep there. Do you understand that feeling?"
Lucas glanced at him and said, "There's nothing strange about it. You've always had feelings for Sie."
"When did I start having feelings for her again?" Joseph said.
"Three years ago, your memory was getting worse day by day, and you might have forgotten a lot of things." Lucas couldn't help but recall some past events.
As an onlooker, he admitted that Joseph's greatest love was Megan, but when Megan wasn't around, Sie also held a significant position in Joseph's heart. However, he found that Joseph didn't seem to remember much about it.
Joseph was taken aback. "What did I forget?"
Lucas glanced at him, "Do you remember accompanying Sie to KFC?"
"Will I go there?" Joseph chuckled, as if he had heard a joke. "Impossible."
Lucas added, "When Megan wasn't around before, you had Sie accompany you when you had a seizure."
Joseph fell silent.
Is there such a matter?
Lucas added,"There was a time you accidentally injured Sie and took her to the hospital in the middle of the night."
Joseph's face turned dark with shock. How could he have done such a nonsensical thing?
If someone else said it, he wouldn't believe it, but Lucas is the brother he grew up with, and what he says must be true.
"Lucas, am I really that bad? How did I end up like this?" Joseph covered his head, feeling strangeness about himself.
