Chapter 646
Joseph was so angry that he almost wanted to follow up, but he remembered what Cassie had said, and he suddenly stopped in his tracks.
“Joseph, do you actually have my shadow in your heart.”
The woman's voice echoed in Joseph's ears.
He took out a cigarette and lit it in annoyance.
It's impossible. He only has Megan in his heart.
It was ten o'clock at night.
All was quiet in the study.
Joseph was looking at the latest quarterly report.
Megan, dressed in a sexy camisole, slowly hugged him from behind, "Joseph, aren't you on medication? Let's give it a try."
Joseph stiffened, turned around, looked at Megan's pleading eyes, and couldn't refuse, "Okay."
In theory, he should have been fine after his strong reaction to Cassie last time.
But as Joseph and Megan had further contact, that strong sense of repulsion and nausea came back.
"Sorry, I might not be ready yet." Joseph awkwardly pushed Megan away. "Just wait a bit longer."
"It's okay, I was too impatient." Megan bit her lips and her eyes turned red. "I've been restless lately. I just want to break through the last barrier with you to find peace of mind."
Joseph regretfully lit a cigarette and smoked, "Megan, I don't understand why I'm like this. What if I continue to be like this in the future..."
"It's okay. Even if you continue to be like this in the future, I'm willing to be with you. I like you for who you are. Nothing else matters." Megan's eyes flashed with regret. This won't work, and she had to figure out a way to attract him completely quickly.
"I'm sorry, Megan." Joseph was full of guilt.
He could react to Cassie just fine, so why couldn't he do it with Megan? Or could he do it with other women but not Megan?
The next day, on the way to the company, he said to Nathaniel, "Bring a few young and pretty girls to the hotel to see me tonight."
Nathaniel almost trembled in his legs and slammed on the brakes, "Mr. Joseph, you..."
"Don't ask." Joseph interrupted him with a sentence.
Nathaniel actually wanted to say, ‘Your stamina is too strong.’
At eight o'clock in the evening, Nathaniel carefully selected three women to bring in.
But in less than five minutes, Joseph kicked all three women out.
"Get out, all of you get out." Joseph's roar came from inside.
Nathaniel quickly sent these women away, then walked in and saw Joseph sitting on the edge of the bed, his hands weakly in his hair, murmuring, "How could this happen? Why is this happening..."
"Mr. Joseph, are you... okay?" Nathaniel asked with concern.
Joseph ignored him, walked past him in big steps, slammed the door, and left the hotel suite.
He drove around in his sports car for a while, not knowing how long he had been driving. When he came to his senses, he was already at the entrance of Willow Creek Estates.
After hesitating for a moment, Joseph parked the car and got out.
After smoking two cigarettes, Cassie, wearing white sweatpants and a denim shirt, walked over from the right.
Cassie wore simple attire yet exuded a youthful vibe. She was also carrying two shopping bags, with bluetooth earphones in her ears, probably chatting on the phone and laughing happily.
"Baby, I miss you too." She blew a kiss on the phone.
