Chapter 651
She was mocking Joseph, which completely infuriated him. "Do you think I wanted this? I've been manipulated."
Sie chuckled lightly, raising the scumbag's ultimate level.
She thought Joseph's implication was like, 'You think I wanted to touch you? If I hadn't been manipulated, I wouldn't have touched you, so I don't owe you any responsibility, and don't blame me either.'
"Why are you laughing? You must be feeling very pleased with yourself right now," Joseph thought about how much he needed her last night, feeling utterly ashamed.
"Pleased?" Sie wordlessly rolled up her sleeve, revealing bruises where she had been forcefully held, "Come on, take a good look at yourself. I'm covered in bruises. Joseph, you must have no idea how you treated me last night. I could sue you for rape!"
Joseph looked at those bruises, with his lips pursed in a complex emotions, feeling remorse.
"What grudge do I have against you? Why don't you go find Megan?" Sie suppressed her disgust. He didn't know about her germophobia and her feeling of nausea.
Joseph remained silent, his short hair slightly tousled on his forehead, not detracting from his exquisite appearance, instead accentuating his thin lips and long eyelashes.
"Don’t you have any interest in Megan now?" Sie walked toward him step by step, her smile particularly radiant. After last night, she exuded an even more captivating charm.
Suddenly, Sie's gracefulness feature last night flashed through Joseph's mind. He couldn't forget the pleasure even now.
"Am I right?" Seeing his silence, Sie deepened her smile, remarking.
"You're overthinking it." Joseph's cold gaze swept over, his words sharp as if laced with poison, "I was just afraid that I might do something to harm Megan in last night's situation. She should be treated with care. As for you, you deserve whatever harm you got."
"How did I deserve it?" Sie's smile gradually froze and retorted.
Joseph was still always finding ways to deepen her hatred toward him.
How ridiculous! Megan should be cherished, but didn't she deserve to be treated as a human being anymore?
"Since you are my nominal wife, if you can't bear to divorce, fulfilling marital duties is your obligation," Joseph said, feeling a sense of relief after speaking. He had nothing to feel guilty about toward her.
"Would you dare say these things to Megan?" Sie asked sarcastically.
Joseph's expression changed, glaring at her. "Sie, if you dare breathe a word about tonight's situation, I will kill you for sure."
"Joseph, in the farmer and snake story, you're that snake."
Sie once again regretted being too kind last night; she should have kicked him out and let him suffer.
Joseph also felt a bit despicable, but he had no choice. " If you keep quiet, Megan won't find out."
"Lies will be exposed. If one day Megan finally knows, you'll blame me once again. Just like that time you bought me lingerie while I never said a word, you still believed Megan, didn't you?"
Sie coldly walked toward the door.
Joseph was surprised, frowning, "Are you still trying to argue about that? If it weren't you who told Megan, how would she know? Are you implying that Megan and Michael deceived me?"
"If I said it were, would you believe me? Between Megan and me, you will never trust me."
Sie spoke, without looking back.
Joseph watched her retreating figure with confusion in mind.
‘Megan deceived me?I had never considered it; it must be Sie's scheming.’
