The person on the other end of the line immediately laughed, "I finally don't have to watch over that jerk Rex every day."
"I'll give you a day off," Sie said.
At 5.00.p.m, when Sie was packing up to leave, a sudden burst of urgent argument came from outside.
"Joseph, you can't go in."
With a bang, the office door was suddenly slammed open. Joseph burst in, wrapping in anger.
A few security guards behind him said in a panic, "Sorry, Ms. Sie, he insisted on coming in. We couldn't stop him at all."
"It's okay; just leave." Sie waved her hand. She knew Joseph's abilities well; he was skilled, and few could match him.
However, as she finished speaking, Joseph strode over, grabbed her collar, and lifted her up. His voice and expression were full of hostility.
"Sie, how dare you hurt Megan? Have you forgotten my warning this morning? Why did you hurt Megan to touch my bottom line."
Sie calmly tilted her head. "Didn't I send you the recording? It seems like she came to me first."
"Even so, you shouldn't have thrown garbage at her and slapped her face."
Thinking of Megan's swollen face, Joseph wanted to return all the harm Megan suffered back to Sie. But for some reason, when he saw Sie's beautiful face, he couldn't bring himself to do it.
"I slapped her face?" Sie laughed. Megan was indeed extraordinary in combat.
"Don't play dumb with me. I don't want to get my hands dirty. You should slap yourself with the same force as you used on Megan. If I'm not satisfied, I won't let it go." Joseph warned.
Sie stabilized her anger and denied, "I didn't slap her face."
"If it weren't you, were it her who hit herself?" Joseph sneered, "After last night, I was starting to change my attitude toward you a bit, but I didn't expect you to be so bad."
"Me, bad?"
Sie was speechless.
Joseph couldn't see who was truly bad; he was completely blind.
"As expected, if a woman isn't bad, a man won't love her." Sie couldn't help but sigh. Nowadays, kind and decent women don't seem to be liked by men.
"Are you trying to seduce me, make me fall in love with you, and replace Megan in my heart?" Joseph's eyes were full of mockery. "Let me tell you, you can never compare to her ."
Sie suddenly smiled bitterly and lowered her head. "Okay, I'll slap myself. Can you let go of me first?"
Joseph released her collar. Seeing her submissive attitude, he became a little gentle. "As long as you turn over a new leaf and stop bothering Megan, maybe..."
"Maybe what?" Sie raised her head. Her eyes widened with innocence and anticipation, revealing a flawless and ethereal beauty.
Joseph hesitated for a few seconds, then awkwardly turned his face away, "...maybe I won't hate you so much."
"Really?"

"Who do you think you are? It was you who forced me to sleep with you last night. I was the victim, yet both of you came to me for trouble. Do you really think I'll let you bully me anytime, anywhere?"
The more she spoke, the angrier she became. She grabbed a half-eaten cake nearby and slammed it directly onto Joseph's head, pressing it down hard.
