Chapter 1356 Have You Regained Your Memory?
"This is nuts," Cassie blushed, thinking, 'How could I have done something so crazy? I'm not that desperate for sex. Sure, Joseph's illness leaves me hanging sometimes, but I got more self-control than that.'
"If you don't believe me, I can swear."
"Enough," Cassie cut him off, barely keeping her cool. "Even if I didn't push you away before, it was 'cause I was asleep. I wasn't conscious. When I woke up, I told you to move, and you didn't."
Joseph pursed his lips, giving her a deep look. "I couldn't help myself, Cassie. You're too hot. I'm just a guy."
Cassie gritted her teeth. She was pissed, but there was a tiny spark of joy. But nah, something was off.
She suddenly remembered something and got serious. "Joseph, did you get your memory back?"
"No."
"Then did you hook up with Marigold?" Cassie suddenly got furious. "Don't try to fool me. Your sex skills are way too good. Don't tell me it's some kind of instinct from before. You're even better than before."
She clearly remembered that not long ago, Joseph was still a rookie. Now he was suddenly so skilled. Cassie could only think Marigold taught him. The thought of their intimacy made Cassie feel incredibly sad and angry. It was gross.
"I didn't." Joseph felt uncomfortable with her grilling.
Joseph didn't expect her to distrust him so much. "I told you before, the most Marigold did was kiss me on the cheek. We never even kissed on the lips."
Cassie sneered. "Then tell me, where'd you get your sexual experience from, Joseph? If you don't explain clearly, we're really done."
Joseph frowned in frustration. After a long pause, he said quietly, "I learned from the computer."
"What?"
Cassie couldn't believe it.
"When Michael visited, he gave me a USB with sex videos." Joseph glanced at her secretly. "After I lost my memory, I didn't get anything. Watching it made me understand. Cassie, you were always coming on to me before."
Cassie felt embarrassed. But she didn't expect that jerk Michael to show Joseph those videos. At that time, Joseph was still as innocent as a blank slate, and Michael totally corrupted him.
"You can't watch it anymore." She put on a stern face, totally ignoring his comment about her always coming on to him. "Joseph, when you watch other women, it makes me feel sick."
"I was just trying to get some experience." Joseph squeezed her small hand with a sly smile. "I won't, Cassie. Don't be mad."
Cassie didn't know what to say, so she just hummed and turned her face away.
Joseph put down the bowl and hugged her from behind, whispering, "Cassie, tell me, was I better at sex before or now?"
Cassie felt awkward. She should have known better than to go there. "Uh, I'm starving. Give me the curry rice." She quickly reached for the plate.
"Cassie." Joseph didn't let go, holding her tight. "Answer me."
"Joseph, don't push it." Cassie blushed.
"Answer me, or I'll have to prove it again." Joseph turned her face towards him.
Cassie quickly dodged and said, "Alright, you couldn't even get it up before. What's there to compare?"
"Then how did Sophia and Oliver get born? I couldn't have been impotent all the time." Joseph raised an eyebrow, clearly not willing to let it go.
Cassie was speechless and thought, 'Old or new, he's still him. What's the fuss?' "Now, the current you is better at sex."
After saying that, Cassie quickly pried his hands off, grabbed the plate, and started munching on the curry rice.
Joseph smiled at her. "Cassie, slow down. Don't choke."
He poured a glass of water and placed it in front of her.
After finishing a bowl of curry rice, Cassie felt almost full. "By the way, who took Sophia and Oliver to preschool today?"
"I did. I got up at six, went to the estate, and after dropping them off, I came here." He lazily played with a strand of her long hair on her shoulder.
Cassie was stunned, remembering that Joseph had gone to bed very late last night and slept on the couch. He got up so early and had been having sex all morning. Joseph's stamina was really impressive, but...
"You should take a nap," Cassie hesitated. "After all, you're not a young man anymore."
"What do you mean?" Joseph raised an eyebrow, asking meaningfully.
"Ahem, I mean you're in your thirties. Your physical condition is getting worse. Take care of yourself, okay?"
Before Cassie could finish, he pulled her into his arms and patted her butt a few times.
"I'm in great shape," Joseph said angrily in her ear. "Stop reminding me of my age, or I'll have to prove it to you again."
"Don't." Cassie was terrified and quickly cupped his handsome face. "I'm just concerned about you."
"Thank you for caring so much about me." Joseph smiled. "But don't worry, I'll definitely die after you. I won't leave you alone in this world. So even if my health isn't great, I'll hold on until you die before I do."
Actually, when couples age, the one left behind suffers the most.
Cassie understood and felt warm inside, hugging him tightly without saying a word.
"Cassie, let's go on a family trip." Joseph suddenly said. "I talked to Oliver and Sophia this morning. We haven't gone on a trip yet, and the kids are really excited."
"Can we wait until Laura recovers?" Cassie frowned and thought, 'I'd love for all four to go out, but I'm worried about Laura.'
"Do you want to interrupt her and Michael's bonding time?" Joseph shrugged it off. "You gave Michael advice because you wanted them to reconcile, right? Now is Laura's most vulnerable time, perfect for them to bond. If you keep going over there, it won't be appropriate."
Cassie was stunned. That made sense. "Then when should we go on the trip?"
