Chapter 797

Joseph quickly brought the principal and pulled up Oliver's information.
Oliver's full name was Oliver Chapman. His father was Jeffrey Chapman, and his mother was Angela Chapman. What puzzled Joseph was that Oliver was actually half a year younger than Sophia.

"Are you sure Oliver is only two years and two months old?" Joseph furrowed his brows deeply, wondering why he felt Oliver looked as old as Sophia.

"Yes. Oliver does look quite tall, probably because both his parents are tall. This situation is quite common in daycare," the principal said with a smile, "Initially, he was too young for our school to accept, but since Oliver's parents are part of the Chapman family and personally came to the school, we accepted him."

"The Chapman family?" Joseph murmured.

Joseph immediately took action. After leaving the principal's office, he promptly had Dragon's people look up information.

Soon, they brought back news. "Mr. Hernandez, there is a person named Jeffrey Chapman in the Chapman family. He is Aiden's cousin and has been married to his wife for many years without children. However, some time ago, his former lover brought back a two-year-old boy. It turns out to be his child. Jeffrey immediately had a paternity test done, confirming that the boy is his biological son. Now Jeffrey treats Oliver and the lover like treasures, which angers his wife, who argues with him every day."

"Send me a picture of Jeffrey," Joseph said.

After giving the order, in less than a minute, Joseph had Jeffrey's picture in his hands and noticed that Jeffrey looked quite similar to Aiden.

Cassie resembled Aiden, so it's not surprising that Oliver resembled Cassie.

Joseph lit a cigarette, his tense body seeming to fall from the sky to the ground suddenly.

Joseph must have been crazy just now, actually thinking, 'The child and Sophia might be both mine with Cassie. Perhaps she didn't have a miscarriage back then. Liam could have bribed hospital staff to deceive me, and maybe he could have bribed them to say Cassie had a miscarriage.'

But Joseph had forgotten how painful Cassie was, how much blood she had lost on the way to the hospital.

How could those twins still be alive?

Joseph was losing his mind.

"Uncle Joseph, Grandma said you should smoke less. Smoking is bad for your health." Sophia appeared in front of Joseph with a small backpack on her back. The sunlight fell on her pink face, and she looked as pretty as a doll.

Joseph felt a pang in his heart, forced a smile, and asked, "Why are you out here?"

"It's time to go home. The teacher said since you were outside, I could come out first." Sophia tilted her head and asked, "Uncle Joseph, you seem... a little sad."

"Yes, I remembered something... I can never forgive myself for." Joseph stood up, patted Sophia's head, and then suggested, "How about we invite Aunt Cassie to watch a movie?"

Sophia hesitated for a moment and then answered, "But... but I'm still young, and I can only watch cartoons."

"Then let’s watch cartoons," Joseph said reluctantly.

"Great! Let's watch Tom and Jerry."

Joseph wished he hadn't said what he did earlier.

Soon, Joseph drove to the Peace Group building. Sophia called Cassie, "Aunt Cassie, Dad and I are waiting downstairs for you. Can you come down?"

Upon hearing Sophia call her "Aunt Cassie." Cassie, on the phone, guessed that Sophia wasn't with Liam. Whenever she was with Liam, Sophia would boldly call her "Mom."

Sophia was getting better at deceiving people, always helping Joseph.

Cassie sighed and replied, "Okay. I'll come down."
